International Observer Groups such asthe American Observer team, the British Council and others from the Netherlands and Scotland and African Union observer team have expressed reservations about the conduct of the Edo governorship election held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. The observers pointing out that they were denied entry into the collation centre and that security operatives at the polling units looked the other way while politicians and their agents induced voters with money.
