Waste To Wealth

Criticism is condemned by many. Some resent it and others consider it demoralizing. Some others see it as a tool used only be haters and "enemies of progress", and thus should be disregarded in its entirety. To some extent all of these are true. Criticism usually puts is target on the defense as he/she will look for a way to justify the actions of decisions for which he's/she is being criticized. Criticisms no doubt creates loss of zeal and demoralise a person. It creates resentment and counter-criticism . But then criticism is a part of our daily lives, we can't run away from it. One had to come across it in almost every major step the person takes in life. Does it then man that we will give up on every endeavour, quit on our goals and aspirations because some people have unpleasant things to say about them? Your answer is as good as mine. Therfore we have to look for a way to turn criticisms into valuables. Rather than toss them to the waste bin, turn the waste to wealth. How do we deal with criticism to avoid resentment or give up on our goals? One way of doing is to put our pride on a short leash. We must be humble enough to look and listen to what people say to us or about us without open minds, not considering them as words of hate. (not every critic is a hater).

 * Take sometime to go through what is being said.(Critics dont criticize for nothing. They have seen something). 

* Sieve through them to see how much is through. * Consider them all. Try to pick out the positives and decides areas where you need to make adjustments that would make you better. 

* Most importantly never give up.

 There is no smoke without fire. If complaints are being made about what you're doing or your methods of doing them, it is because they have seen something wrong based on their points of view. (which you can't see). Beware of those who only praise you. Your critics may turn out to be your greatest assets. Even the holy Bible says chastisement is meant for those who are loved. Next time you think of calling someone a hater, remember he might just have hidden in his criticism, the idea you need to complete that big task .
