It adopted the content analysis approach in which materials were sought from internet, journals. The paper extrapolated the principles of Katz’ Skill Theory viz; conceptual, technical and administrative skills to pursue a central philosophy of acquiring skill set. It compared India’s skill set applications in line with global expectations.
