'You can't stop PDP convention'. Dokpesi tells Sheriff.

Chief Raymond Dokpesi, a chieftain of the main opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Thursday boasted that neither the former National Chairman of the party Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, the National Publicity Secretary of the party Olisah Metu, nor any other member of the Sheriff faction can stop
the forthcoming Port Harcourt National Convention of the party.

Nnadozie (Deputy National Organising Secretary) and Chief Olisa Metuh (National Publicity Secretary) had gone to the federal high in Abuja seeking for injunction to stop the National Convention.

But an Aspirant for the Chairmanship position of the party in the August 17 National Convention, accused Sheriff and members of his faction of manipulating the system with impunity and disrespect for the party rules and regulations.

Russian transgender woman to serve jail term in mens prison.

  Authorities rejected Dmitry Kozhukhov, 25, who just change her name to Alina davis, plea to serve in a women's prison because she is still registered and ‘physically’ a man. They insisted she should serve her two month sentence for driving with a fake licence in a male prison. A police spokesman said: "Kozhukov aka Davis is a man according to his documents and as a result he was sent to a male prison." She is now sharing the jail cell with four male prisoners in the city of Egorievsk in western Russia’s Moscow region. When she was arrested over the drugs charges, police decided not to keep her in custody because they could not work out which type of cell to give her, but now after the second offence they have acted and told her she will go to a male prison.
