"MY RESERVATIONS ON MAGU'S MODUS OPERANDI" - Hon. Kelechi Nwogu
Hon. Kelechi Nwogu, the member representing Omuma constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly has expressed discontentment with the way the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC is prosecuting the war on corruption. Especially regarding the discovery of $43M in an apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos. The lawmaker stated this in an article published in his social media page titled "My Reservations on Magu's Modus Operandi". It reads: "We all saw on our TV screens and social media platforms the live coverage of over $43m been discovered in an Ikoyi apartment via a sting operation by EFCC, the question of why an anti-graft agency like EFCC would make an operation like that public when proper investigation has not been carried out, is a topic for another day.
