Femi Falana hails son, Falz's accomplishment in entertainment.

Legal giant and human rights activist, Femi Falana  (SAN), has said that even though he wanted his  son, Folarin Falana aka Falz to follow in his footsteps in the legal profession, he is proud of the giant strides the young man has recorded in the entertainment industry.

The senior Falana spoke at the premiere of Falz’s new music video, ‘Soldier,’ featuring female singer, Simi, and taking off his sophomore album, ‘Stories that Touch,’ and he couldn’t conceal his pride at the creative work of art. After viewing the video which has a military theme, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) hugged his son warmly, and with his face lit up by bright smiles, he said, ‘I’m delighted to watch you. I sent you to school to study law, and I thought you’ll be a fantastic lawyer. However, I have no regrets that you’re doing well for yourself. I’ve spent my life fighting the brutalisation of the military, and I’m glad that this video also has the same theme. I’ll consult with your mom tonight so we can chip in some support for you.’
Unlike the usual concept of music videos, ‘Soldier’ was shot like a movie with an engaging story-line, a rich cast and well-selected locations. The 14-minute video was directed by ace music video director, Clarence Peters, and features stars like Deyemi Okanlawon, Efa, among others.
