The Incorruptible President

For once in her long history Nigeria is so fortunate to have a president at this time who abhors corruption.

He hates corruption so much that he chose to align with men of impeccable integrity to form a mega-political party.

It is this same intolerance for corrupt practices to made him become friends with men who "do not like money" nor "have ever collected bribe in their lives ". These were the people he allowed to sponsor his campaign because the were SAINTS.

The past government was so corrupt it made him sick. He accused them of wasting the nation's funds in acquiring presidential jets for the country and vowed to sell them all off once he's in office. As a man of his words, he sold all the jets and replaced them with camels and horses which he has been using to travel around the world.
Because he is a simple man, he reject an "extravagant" convoy in London provided by the country's High Commission and chose instead to trek to his destination.

When he became president, he refused to move in to Aso Rock because it was to sophisticated which negated his simple nature. He opted instead to preside from the mud house (the only house he has) in Daura. All he had to do was build a ranch for his camels and horses there.

This man so hates corruption that he rejected every of his entitlement as Former Head of State that came from the corruption-laden past government. Even when someone gave him five armored SUVs, he rejected it. He said "no, I can't collect these things. I am a simple man, i don't need five cars." So instead he collected only one armored car and another SUV which was not bullet proof.

This indeed is a gentleman but a he is tough when it comes to fighting corruption. He promised that no man with a corruption charge against him will be part of his cabinet. And he kept his words. In fact in sentenced them to life-in-cabinet for stealing their states dry to sponsor him.

So please whenever gates of corruption are opened and names of people who ate oiled yam are being mentioned, do not include him because he is a clean man, he always wipes his mouth oillessly clean after eating.
