#DasukiGateYamFestival, The law and Justice

From the inception of this new administration, it has embarked on what it describes as a war against corruption. And paramount on the list of battles in this war has been the been the arrest and eventual arraignment of Colonel Sambo Dasuki, the former Director of the NSA for misappropriating $2.1billion of money meant for the procurement of arms for the military to aid in the fight against insurgents.
Since this arraignment, so many has been said. Alot of people think it is part of the ruling party's attack on the opposition. The call it a witch-hunt on Jonathan and his associates. Those on the other side of the divide have quickly dismissed this. 
Indeed if this man actally diverted these funds and allowed our brave soldiers to be killed by the blood-thirsty terrorists, then he is, to say the least, EVIL and deserves no less than the treatment the soldiers get in the hands of the insurgents. He sabotaged the government's efforts to rid this country of these criminals and should be made to face the full weight of the country's law.
Interestingly, Dasuki has making so many revelation as to how the money was been shared. It is indeed not a mistake the entire scandal is refered to by many as the #DasukiGateYamFestival, beacause that is what it is; a festival. Politicians, journalists, traditional rulers have all been implicated in the scandal. Unfortunately, since all these revelations have been made, only a few arrests or arraignments have been made. Which has further cast more doubt on the government's determination to really fight corruption and has given credence to the opposition's argument that the corruption fight is a mere charade used to witch-hunt them.
iIf indeed this administration is genuinely willing to rid the nation of corruption then all those who had a share in the yam festival should be made to account for it. Whether they ate the yam or they simply tasted the oil. Whether they purposely ate the yam or they were decieved to think it was cocoyam, No one should be left out of the probe. They are all evil, wicked men and women who have caused untold hardship to this country and thrown families of slain soldiers into mourning. 

Justice is said to be blind, carries a sword and scale on either hand. So it is believed that justice is impartial.
This scenerio should be what should play out in this probe. Why has justice suddenly recovered her sight so that she now selects who it slays with her sword? Why is her scale never balanced anymore? Why would one accused be made to sleep in jail why the other is busy travelling around the world?
