Former President Olusegun Obasanjo appears to have acquired a new skill since leaving office a little above eight years ago. That skill is letter writing; and he wastes no time to pen down his thoughts on issues whenever the need arises. Of course, knowing the former president as someone who is not afraid to speak his mind, some of the issues he raises in his letters end up stirring more controversies than solutions. Example is the 18-page letter he wrote to former President Goodluck Jonathan on December 2, 2013 wherein he (Obasanjo) levelled sundry but grave allegations against Jonathan. That letter not only heated up the polity but further strained the relationship between the duo. Just last Wednesday, another letter written by Obasanjo to National Assembly members leaked to the press.
