Pastor Adeboye visits Gov. Wike. Prays for peace in Rivers state

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), on Monday, visited the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and offered prayers for the peace of the state.Adeboye made it clear that “whatever little problem that is still there in the state, God will make peace to reign”.
Earlier, the state governor, Wike confessed that prayers of leading Christian Leaders have been the sustaining force behind Nigeria.Speaking at the Government House, Port Harcourt when he received in audience, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Governor Wike said: “If not for the prayers of men of God, what would have happened to Nigeria”.
The governor thanked God for the exploits of the General Overseer of RCCG, noting that he had been a vessel of God used in blessing Nigeria. He said that his administration was anchored on God while no step was taken without the government seeking the approval of God.Pastor Adeboye said that he was in Rivers State as part of his annual visit to the state to meet with members of the church and pray for the state. 

 The cleric noted that Rivers State has the second largest population of RCCG members in the country. He said that he was always concerned about the wellbeing of the people of the state.“The Almighty God will let peace reign Supreme in this state. There will be progress and development. Whatever little problem we may still have, God will settle them”, he said.The RCCG General Overseer offered special prayers for the people of Rivers State and the government of the state.

Russian transgender woman to serve jail term in mens prison.

  Authorities rejected Dmitry Kozhukhov, 25, who just change her name to Alina davis, plea to serve in a women's prison because she is still registered and ‘physically’ a man. They insisted she should serve her two month sentence for driving with a fake licence in a male prison. A police spokesman said: "Kozhukov aka Davis is a man according to his documents and as a result he was sent to a male prison." She is now sharing the jail cell with four male prisoners in the city of Egorievsk in western Russia’s Moscow region. When she was arrested over the drugs charges, police decided not to keep her in custody because they could not work out which type of cell to give her, but now after the second offence they have acted and told her she will go to a male prison.
